Biography

VICTOR OKHAI is a producer, scriptwriter, director and film consultant. One of the founders of Director’s Guild of Nigeria. He was also Assistant Director/Assistant Producer for Zanani, Doctor’s Quarters a medical series on MNET. He has produced and directed several home movies and television series, and was series producer for the BBC World Service Trust’s radio drama STORY STORY.

He was contracted to produce the 2009 AFRICA MOVIE ACADEMY (AMAA) AWARDS (The African Oscar) for a worldwide Television Audience.

Victor Okhai who holds an M.Sc in Public Relations from the University of Nigeria Nsukka, has attended courses in film production at NAFTI (Ghana), CIFAP (France), Deutshe Welle Akademie (Germany) among others. He is also an Alumnus of the prestigious Lagos Business School, Pan African University, a consultant to many organisations on film, television production and broadcasting, including Channels Television, Imo Television, AIT, MBI TV, Deutshe Welle (African Dept), BBC World Service Trust, Goethe Institute Lagos, The German Embassy in Nigeria, Berlinale, The Government of Cameroon, etc.

Victor Okhai has worked for many international broadcasters in Nigeria including CNN, BBC, SBS Australia, Arte Germany, S4C Wales etc
